RESOLVED, that WAFP partner with and advocate for Washington State Department of Health, local health departments, Washington State Hospital Association, hospitals, and clinics to promote consuming tap water which has been deemed safe under EPA standards in place of bottled water, and be it further

RESOLVED, that the WAFP recommend that physicians encourage their patients to drink tap water instead of buying bottled water, and be it further

RESOLVED, that the WAFP ask the AAFP at its Congress of Delegates meeting in September 2011, to issue a policy statement promoting the use of tap water in place of bottled water as specified in this resolution.
