5th Annual Student & Resident Retreat
Saturday, January 5 – Sunday, January 6, 2008
Hyak Park Lodge, Snoqualmie Pass
Attention all Family Medicine Students & Residents:
The WAFP is hosting its 5th Annual Student & Resident Retreat and you are invited!
Come participate in a refreshing weekend completely designed around your needs as a medical student or family medicine resident. The purpose of the retreat is to provide an environment for you to interact, to learn about advocacy and opportunities for involvement, and to discuss family medicine.
Speakers are engaged throughout the weekend to educate, encourage and inspire you in your chosen profession. There is also plenty of opportunity for fellowship, relaxation, and even skiing and snowboarding! And you are welcome to bring your significant others.
GENERAL RETREAT SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
SATURDAY, JANUARY 6
10:00am Meet at Hyak lodge (introductions)
11:00am Presentation/Workshop - TBA
Noon Lunch (Provided)
1:00pm - 5:00pm Presentations/Workshops - TBA
5:00pm End for day-Break for dinner
SUNDAY, JANUARY 7
9:30 am Breakfast (Provided)
10am - Noon Presentations/workshops - TBA
Noon End (lunch on your own/skiing/etc.)
REGISTRATION:
The cost is $25 per person to share a room, and $50 per person if you would like your own room. The registration fee covers lodging, retreat activities & speakers, and meals (Saturday Lunch, Sunday Breakfast, and dollars toward your Saturday night Dinner on the town).
Registration deadline is November 15.
We are holding this retreat a little earlier this year, so please send us your registration as soon as possible. The lodge has about 30 rooms, so we are somewhat limited in space. If you would like to attend, but need us to hold your check until the first week of January, please indicate that on the form below when you send in your registration.
